Do you offer insurance for my package?

We offer full coverage insurance on your package during the checkout/shipping process with Cabrellatm here at Platinum Skin Care.

• You have up to 90 days to file a claim, though porch piracy should be filed within 20 days upon scan of delivery.* We notify you via email when your package is delivered. Always check - and contact us if you can not find it. 
• We can take care of your issue within 1-2 days. Cabrella will email you a claim statement. Sign that, and your New package will be shipping immediately. 
• This is done for a nominal fee  [current rate is $1.25] that is worked into your shipping costs. We ship it to you - You are covered*!  *Non-sanctioned global countries would be excluded with any carrier or insurance. 

Standard Carriers DO offer insurance, but:

• Porch piracy is not covered. Delivered, but no package. This is generally delivered to a wrong address, or can also be stolen by watchful neighbors and/or persons looking for packages on porches to steal. You get nothing if it is scanned by the carrier as "delivered". 
• Most issues not covered. They will only cover if the package has never been scanned as delivered. Or if there are damages that can be confirmed*. You may have to hang-on to that leaking, damaged box until your claim is settled (10+ days after filing).  
• Small amounts only covered. Many carriers have either a $50, or up to $100 coverage native to the method of shipping, or optional higher coverages for more money (starting $4 and up). This still does not cover porch piracy - only damages that they can confirm. 
• Very short claim windows. Carriers have a very short window to make a claim on damages/lost packages. *This does NOT include a package that was scanned as delivered ... but you do not have it! That falls under "porch piracy" and is not covered at all.
  
  Fedex is 21 days after shipping for global and up to 60 for US. UPS and USPS are both within 60 days, but USPS will not cover more than $50 for Advantage and "up to" $100 on  Priority and Express. If you did not purchase extra insurance that is your limitation and remember, this is only damaged or if they lost it.
