• Many years ago it was only 7% (like 15+ years). Then we updated to 25% and made it more of the "treatment" it is today.
• Yes - you will get DRY. That is what you want. You are choosing to use a high percentage of Acid to remove the dead skin. Don't panic when that skin is coming OFF! Rejoice - and get excited knowing that you will have smooth skin in a couple of weeks. It won't always feel this dry. 
• During Covid (2-3 years) we had to deal with ingredient shortages. The formula was tweaked the tiniest bit a few times. It is back to its normal state ... and has been, for well over a year+.
• YES - this can be sticky if you apply too much. 25% of the bottle is pure Acid! Acid = sticky, ... and leaves a film , ... and doesn't smell good. So many things make this VERY difficult to work with. ... But we do. And it is as perfect as it can be. Try to mix with another lotion, or apply less, or add shea butter or emu oil on top to help this if needed.
• Scent is VERY personal, and only some kinds of smells can cover up ACID. And you do not want to walk around smelling Sour! Trust me. It can't be UNscented - or it would be. *It would be Much easier for me if I could do this.
• We have LESS THAN 0.5% of scent in here. So it's very very light. It dissipates in a matter of 30 minutes. I am sorry if you do not like it. .. Personally I LOVED the Orange Creamsicle ... but too many "hated" the vanilla - so we removed it and did a more "generic" but lovely scent that is fruity/floral. Pineapple Orchid.
• When we adjusted the scent this last time - we added in one ingredient: Unsaponified olivate to aid in making it "less tacky". Learn all about it! Ethylhexyl Olivate is a natural emollient made from olive oil as an alternative to silicones including dimethicone and cyclopentasiloxane, cyclohaxasiloxane. Light like oil with a dry after feel. Saponification value 125-150. Contains nourishing phytocompounds to support healthy skin. Softens hair and skin by adding a protective film and reducing greasiness. Naturally derived, low-viscosity emollient leaving the skin non-tacky, dry and soft. Can be used as silicone replacement. Improves spreading of creams and lotions and provides an even protective film to hair.

This is a wonderful lotion if you are using it correctly. It is what it is - 25% Acid ... and is not a "normal lotion". It is very very different. Don't expect this to work like something just geared to hydrate your skin.

Remember this is a TREATMENT. Many can not use this high of a % on a daily basis. Aim for 3-4 days per week. Add on as your skin acclimates/tolerates.
